Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Ok so I am starting this dvd from yesterday There are 3 levels of exercise and each level is consisted of a 20 minute workout. Each level includes a Warm up, Strength, Cardio, Abs and a Cool Down. I tried it yesterday and it almost killed me lol. The good thing is that Jillian seems to pick you up when you actually need it, when you are near the end of the workout and you really want to give up, she pushes you to give it more then you started with and knows exactly what you are thinking.
I am hoping to give this dvd a try for 30 days and see if I notice any difference. I will take some photos of myself before the workout and I have also weighed myself this week (even though I said I wouldn't) just so I can see if I find that after just a week the dvd is working. I can't imagine getting any higher then level 1 at the moment because it's hard, but you never know.

Two days in, feeling the burn, feeling the pain LOL OMG How am I going to get through this week alone :O

I am finding out a little bit more when doing this dvd, the Abs workout is quite difficult to do for me. Not because I am tired but because the positioning is akward.
The first one is crunches and I find that they aren't doing anything because I can't get my shoulders off the mat so much. I might just doing the main workout and then do my Abs exercises from the Body Blitx dvd as I find those ones are easier to do and I feel that those are doing more to tone my stomach.
I'm sticking with the 30 day shred for now but once the 30 days are up I will switch things around a little.

Well I kept it up for a few weeks until my back went Luckily it only lasted 1 week and I was back onto the 30 day shred, haven't done this in about a week or so now though. I would still do it on a day that I have no time to exercise, so the morning of the Bon Jovi show I think I will be putting this dvd on before Sarah heads over to mine.
