So what is the best on the market at the moment ?

Which ones have worked for you ?

Which Celeb would you not get a DVD from if they bought one out ?

What is the best Exercise DVD's ? Empty Re: What is the best Exercise DVD's ?

I have a few exercise dvd's. I bought the Charlie Brooks exercise dvd first and found that whilst it was ok to do it was a tad boring. I haven't used that one in a while. The other one I have is the Jillian Michaels work out, it's really really boring and she doesn't really show you much motivation so after watching it once I haven't bothered doing it.
I also got 2 of the 'Pump it up' dvds, those ones will be really hard to do though and If you suffer with any injuries and you will struggle with them.

The one I found the best is the Hannah Waterman Body Blitz dvd it's perfect for me, just because afterwards I feel like I have burned off a lot of calories, and I didn't feel that way about the other dvds I have. I don't do the full workout I only do the 'Warm up', 'Cardio' and 'Body Blitz & Cool down' exercises. It will take me about 40 minutes. The only issue I have is that the talking and jokes can get a little annoying once you have heard them for more then a week, I have found a way to do the exercises without actually putting on the dvd. I have noted down each exercise and how many of them I need to do and then I will just go by that rather then having to listen to the trainers. I can watch TV or put music on then whilst I do my exercises…you don't get the trainers pumping you up like on the dvd but Im sure it will be worth it.
I wouldn't buy any dvd from a trainer/celebrity who has always been slim…I would rather get a dvd from someone who gained weight and lost it through their dvd which is why I would tell everyone to get the Hannah Waterman dvd, plus you get to eat 7 times a day because you are burnning so many calories.

It's worth getting it. I tried doing the workout without actually putting the dvd on, and found that its very hard to get into the right motion with it all. So I decided to just do the actual dvd and put up with hearing the jokes over and over again. I think once I get into doing it for a few more weeks I might get the hang of doing the exercises without the dvd, we'll see.

I think I will try and have a look for some more dvd's soon. Just something that I can use when I don't fancy doing the Body Blitz one. I will make sure Its one I'm gonna use though because I have about 6 that I don't bother with.

You should love it Smile
You get a choice between two main workouts, the first workout which is the Warm up has to be done before anything else as it gets your muscles stretched and warm, then the Last workout (Cool down) needs to be done after your exercise routine as it's stetching the muscles again to cause no injuries. I usually do the Cardio, Belly Blitz and Cool Down routine each day, I can't do the whole dvd...that's insane

You could probably do the Belly Blitz and Cool Down part as those ones you are lying down most of the time anyhow, but you wouldn't be able to do the Cardio part until you are fully fit

Also just a little tip for this dvd, try and do it for 4 days out of the week, spead the days out so that you are not leaving about 3 days in the middle of not doing the workout at all because it will be HELL. I just spent 2 days sitting on my butt holding a newborn baby and the last time I did the workout was Friday, it almost killed me tonight doing it.

I haven't done the floor exercises since Saturday. I really need to stretch properly after my walk so the dvd might be a good idea to use for the cool down

If you are experiencing pain then don't do anything, you could cause more damage and will never be able to exercise, it's more important that you try and get it fixed right now

I'm feeling a tad guilty for not doing the exercise dvd this week, I am sticking to my walking, just because I really love it and at the moment the weather is too nice to be stuck indoors, I am having a fat week and even though my trousers are loose on me I still feel fat LOL
Going to really try and do my abs workout on the dvd tonight MUST DO IT Very Happy
